While Coco Chanel freed woman from corsets, replacing them with more comfortable and casual outfits, Gareth Pugh went the opposite way here during Paris fashion week and decided to constrict models into fetish dresses featuring vertical bars which don’t allow the slightest movement. His pret-a-porter collection was extremely striking on a purely aesthetic point of view yet, as you can guess, cage-like dresses are not very wearable at all. The pictures though are pretty stunning!!!
