I love this collection, and I love that a talented Italian designer has just entered the Haute Couture world from the main door. The clothes presented by Giambattista Valli are amazing, romantic, classy and very feminine. The tailoring is perfect, the volumes exquisite and delicate. A success declared both by the public and the media, a beautiful collection indeed. Here are some of the clothes, there wasn’t a fine line between the daywear and the evening gowns as everything was extremely elegant and sophisticated, but here I present you with mainly cocktail dresses (evening gowns still to come soon…). If I could criticize something, it would be the atmosphere of the show. I thought the backstage was a lot better, with models dressed like goddesses and a very relaxed mood. The room where the show was held was long and narrow, the catwalk could hardly fit two models and the music (a violin playing a classic melody while a somewhat cold female voice was speaking) gave a sense of hardness and could not quite warm the crowded room.

Adoro questa collezione e amo il fatto che uno stilista italiano dotato di grande talento sia appena entrato a far parte del mondo dell’alta moda. I vestiti presentati da Giambattista Valli sono incredibili, romantici, di classe e molto femminili. Un perfetto esempio di sartoria con volumi meravigliosi  e delicati. Un successo sancito sia dal pubblico che dai media, davvero una collezione straordinaria… ecco alcuni dei vestiti. In realta’ la collezione non presenta una netta distinzione tra gli abiti da giorno e quelli sera, in quanto sono tutto molto eleganti e sofisticati, ma qui cerco principalmente di mostrarvi quelli che potrebbero essere gli abiti da cocktail (presto troverete anche quelli da sera). Se posso azzardare una critica, non mi e’ piaciuta l’atmosfera della sfilata. Il backstage e’ stato molto meglio, con modelle simili a dee ed un clima comunque rilassato. La stanza dove si e’ tenuta la sfilata era lunga e stretta, la passarella aveva spazio a mala pena sufficiente per due modelle e la musica (una melodia classica suonata da un violino ed una fredda voce femminile che parlava) davano un senso di freddezza perfino in una stanza cosi’ affollata.
