It’s a beautiful Sunday afternoon, I’m sitting in my garden thinking at the last hours in Paris at the end of this very long Fall Winter 2012 season and when I think of Kate, I think of all the stress we go through to get a picture of her to send to the magazine as soon as possible. “Kate’s here” you hear whispering before the show, and you know even the calmest and most controlled photographer (who would certainly not belong to our team) will soon turn into the maddest paparazzi, bloodshot eyes and foam appearing on the corner of his lips, fighting his way violently through a horde of people, clicking wildly the camera button, hoping she looks his way for a moment. For us backstage people timing is everything: we have to be ready and physically fit as athletic skills are essential when you are trying to break the 200 meters record down the courtyard to get a shot of her arriving  so that you can have those really exclusive pictures of her before a talented make up artist transforms her and the rest of the models into divine Vuitton creatures. Well, no ankles broken, no sweat on our brows, here are the really exclusive shots of Kate and her boyfriend Jamie Hince…enjoy!

E’ una bella domenica, splende il sole e sono seduta in giardino pensando alle ultime ore passate a Parigi alla fine di questa lunga stagione per le sfilate dell’autunno-inverno 2012. Quando penso a Kate (Moss) mi viene subito in mente lo stress per scattarle una foto che poi viene mandata immediatamente ai giornali. “C’è Kate” si bisbiglia prima della sfilata e anche il più calmo e controllato dei fotografi (che certamente non è uno dei nostri) si trasforma nel più folle dei paparazzi, con gli occhi iniettati di sangue  e la bava agli angoli della bocca, disposto a farsi strada con violenza tra una massa di persone mentre clicca all’impazzata il pulsante della macchina fotografica nella speranza che lei guardi verso nella sua direzione almeno per un attimo. Per noi che siamo nel backstage il tempismo è tutto: la prontezza e doti da atleta allenato sono essenziali quando cerchi di battere il record dei 200 metri nel cortile per avere uno scatto mentre lei arriva così da mandare ai giornali una di quelle foto esclusive rubate prima che il talento dei truccatori trasformi lei e le altre modelle in creature divine firmate Louis Vuitton.
